Founded many centuries ago to control the Via Augusta, Girona is today a charming town endowed with great beauty and ancient myths, and is home to cultural initiatives like the flower festival Temps de Flors.
We will be welcomed by the colorful view of the houses along the Onyar river, before starting our walk across the old town.
We will relax in the former Romanesque monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants and the historical Arab Baths.
Also not to be missed is the Cathedral of Saint Mary, where the amazing 11th-century Tapestry of Creation is exhibited.
Our route takes us along the battlements of the city walls to enjoy great views of the surrounding mountains.
The tour will end in the Call, an important center of Jewish religious and philosophical culture for many centuries.
