We will drive to Collserola mountain, which bounds Barcelona from the northwest.

From there we’ll pick up a path, commonly known as the Camino de las Aguas, which leads to a medium-grade slope on which we can enjoy a run of about 5 kilometers on easy terrain.

To our right, the mountain and cathedral of Tibidabo; to our left, the spectacular, changing views of the city below. Nowhere else in Europe is such a route possible.

We will make a stop at the Mirador dels Xiprers to enjoy a relaxed moment with an unrivalled view of Barcelona below us.

It’s then back to the path, as we continue to a hillside café where we will be served a typical Catalan breakfast.

After our well-deserved rest, our transport will take us the hill of Montjuïc on the other side of the city.

On our way to the top, we will pass by the Barcelona Pavilion by Mies Van de Rohe, the Catalonian National Museum of Art (MNAC), the Spanish Pavilion of the International Exhibition of 1929, and the Miró Foundation.

From these vantage points, we will look out over the city from the opposing perspective; the keen-eyed might even be able to trace our earlier trail!

We will then return to the hotel, satisfied from a morning spent exercising in an environment like no other: a nature-bound cityscape of the Mediterranean metropolitan hub.
